Our goal is to promote wind energy in Illinois, the Midwest and in
America.
Promote wind as a viable alternative to imported fuels.
To do this we have
created two exciting new technology companies:
OurWind is aimed at developing the mid-range wind
power market in the Midwest
and in developing offshore wind in the Great Lakes.
TheWindWay
is aimed
at developing the green collar jobs needed to ensure windpower's role in our
energy future.
TheWindWay will focus on the
innovative program "Wind for Schools"
and in promoting wind energy.
